Having undertaken a thorough review of the National Event Industry Awards programme, the NZAEP are running a re-vamped awards programme in 2014 to recognise and promote excellence within the sector.
The Association will be inviting expressions of interest for the appointment of key providers for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Awards.

| Sport New Zealand, formerly SPARC, recognises the important role the NZAEP is taking in the fast developing New Zealand sporting events sector. Sport NZ encourages all sporting organisations who hold events as part of their operations to become active members of the NZAEP to promote best practice and continual professional development. Sport NZ regularly collaborates with NZAEP and its members in respect of risk management, leverage and legacy, and important components of event management |
