The mission of the New Zealand Association of Event Professionals is to provide leadership for the industry through advocacy, education and accreditation. 

NZAEP’s founding principle is to bring professionals together to focus on the industry as a whole and to act as a voice for that industry and its members.  

EVENTING THE FUTURE CONFERENCE

The annual Industry conference is an opportunity for events professionals around the country to get together and network, network,  network! Among the programme of educational and inspirational presentations,  we include the Associations AGM and a  presentation on the future direction of the NZAEP. EVENTS RESOURCE BANK 
The Events Resource Bank goes from strength to strength having been developed by New Zealand Major Events in partnership with the NZAEP. It is a practical resource for New Zealand major event organisers and owners - a one stop shop to support the major events industry in New Zealand. Click here for more information.  

THE EVENTS UPDATE

The NZAEP owns and produces the Voice of the Industry the publication called 'Events Update'.  Members are encouraged to submit editorial for consideration - editorial@nzaep.co.nz. For more information click here.  

VOLUNTEERNET

VolunteerNet is a new website that connects people looking for volunteering opportunities with event organisers looking for volunteers. VolunteerNet has been created by New Zealand Major Events. For more information click here.

 New Zealand Major Events is a strategy group within the Tourism, Events and Consumer Affairs Branch of the Ministry of Economic Development. It works in partnership with the event sector to support New Zealand’s growing reputation as an attractive destination for major events of global significance. Collaborating with a broad range of individuals and organisations, New Zealand Major Events’ activity aligns with the Major Events Strategy, which aims to attract, retain, grow and deliver major events.
